Remembering 9/11

Today all Americans are celebrating the death of our nemesis, Osama Bin Laden. It's been 10 years since the towers fell. Perhaps we can envision the death of this man's personal vendetta against us as well.
Most of us who remember September 11, 2001, remember exactly where we were, or what we were doing that awful day. The San Pedro River Arts Council has a CALL TO ARTISTS out for your remembrances of that day, be it visual art, writings of journals or poetry, photos, music, plays, constructions or sculpture. Deadline for that exhibit will be August 5, 2011. Size is not an issue, but you must be a member of SPRAC (join online on the Home Page of the website). The exhibit will be up for the last two weeks in August, through October of 2011.
If you have ideas as to how the disparity of these expressions might be shown to the public, please email me. We don't have the venue selected yet.
